1. What SkillsNest is
SkillsNest is an online marketplace that connects customers with independent service providers in Zimbabwe. SkillsNest is not the service provider. We do not perform the services listed on the platform.
2. Independent providers
Providers on SkillsNest are independent businesses or individuals. They are not employees, partners, agents, or representatives of SkillsNest. No employment, agency, joint venture, or partnership relationship is created between SkillsNest and any provider.
3. No guarantee of work quality or outcomes
We make reasonable efforts to help customers find suitable providers, but we do not guarantee the quality, safety, legality, timing, or outcome of any service arranged through the platform.
4. Customer responsibility
Before hiring a provider, customers are responsible for verifying:
- The provider's identity, references, and suitability for the job.
- Any required permits, licences, or qualifications.
- Pricing, scope of work, timelines, and materials.
- Insurance cover where relevant.
Customers and providers arrange payment, contracts, and delivery directly with each other. SkillsNest is not a party to that arrangement.
5. Account rules
- You must provide truthful and up-to-date information.
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
- You must not share, sell, or transfer your account to anyone else.
- You must not create accounts to impersonate others or evade suspensions.
6. Reviews and moderation
Reviews must reflect a genuine experience. We may moderate, edit, or remove content that violates our Acceptable Use policy, is misleading, unlawful, or harmful. We may suspend or remove accounts, listings, or reviews that breach these terms.
7. Suspensions and removals
We may suspend or terminate access to the platform where we reasonably believe a user has breached these terms, poses a risk to other users, or where required by law.
8. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by Zimbabwean law, SkillsNest is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of the platform, or from any arrangement between a customer and a provider. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
9. Dispute handling
If you have a complaint about another user or about SkillsNest, contact support@skillsnest.co.zw. We will review the matter and respond within a reasonable time. Disputes between customers and providers about the services themselves are resolved between those parties directly.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Zimbabwe, and the courts of Zimbabwe have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
